Conservation Agriculture Association (KTD)

KTD is promoting adoption of CA in semi-arid and arid zones of Turkey in particular, and has obtained membership of European Conservation Agriculture Federation – having 17 members including Russia. A total number of 170 members of KTD is currently engaged with farming, research and policy developing at state level. Working with the international organizations such as Food and Agriculture Organizations of United Nations (FAO) and BDIARI has provided significant experience for the association to be an implementing partner of small to full-sized project. Global Environmental Facility (GEF) and European Union (EU) funded projects in developing coping strategies for climate change have been an example to the experiences gained whilst working with FAO, GEF and EU rules.
